Children are blessings from God. They come in your life and brighten up your life. Planned or not planned once they come in your life you do all your possible best to do the best you can.
Many Children all over the world were brought up by single mothers. A single hard working mother can bring up her child the same way a couple will do. I know its easer said than done but come on its worth trying!
Christy was a young girl living with her parents. She always told herself ' God dont give me a man just like my Dad" if thats the case i will never ever get married.
Christy saw her dad beating up her mum for years and whenever her mum packed their bags she ends up unpacking them. She wondered why they never left. Hatred filled in her heart. She hated her dad so much and sometimes even her mum. Whenever she confronted her mum, her mum said ' Christy you will never understand until you witnessed it' She never understood what that means. Whenever she confronted her dad, he ends up beating her up. She wondered why her dad always raises his hand if there is an issue.
Being a housewife and your;l husband being the breadwinner for the family doesnt simply mean you should be used as a punching bag! I hate him Mum and i just wish you would open your eyes and face reality. Its never too late to start all over again, lets go somewhere else cause i want to go and im not going without you, Christy said. Her mum looked at her and shed a tear. My daughter you wouldnt understand. i will be fine just go and make a better future out of your life and make sure you make me proud.
Christy decided to leave. She got her own appartement got a job as a secretary.
Christy always got in touch with her mum through letters. In her mum"s letters she sounded ok! Christy was kinda releaved. She didnt want to call the house and hear her dad's voice. Christy got in touch with her old classmate Freda. They started hanging out and Christy told her everything that is going on back home. Freda was so sad and she said Christy made the right choice but she shouldnt have left her mum behind. Christy started thinking about what Freda said< so she decided to go back home and visit her mum.
Christy got to the house and found no one there. The door was opened and no one was in the house. She felt something weird was going on and decided to go to the neighbours.
Christy: Hey Miss Moore have u seen my parents? Been to the house no one is there and the door was unlocked?
Ms Moore: Oh My God Christy come in!!
Ms Moore: Your dad had an argument with your mum last night and i called the police> Your mum has been admitted at the hospital and your dad is in custody. Didnt know how to reach you my love. I can take you there right away!
Christy: Please Ms. Moore i would apprecate it ( Christy wipes away her tears)
They got to the hosipital and Christy got speechless all of a sudden. This woman lying here is not the woman i call mum. She had snitches all over her face and her face looked so different. The doctor said your mum s very weak and she has been using too many pills which aint good for her. Mum, have u been using pills? Why, When, Where? The 3 W's mummy couldnt answer. All Christy got was tears..
Christy stayed by her mum for days and didnt want to go anywhere and she said to her mum. Mum i have a feeling there is more to this. Her mum answered by saying ' Yes my daughter there is definetely more to this" Sit down and let me tell you the whole story.
There was a man called prince. he was my boyfriend. We were together for years. Your grandparents were against it but i insisted and decided to go with him even though he was poor i liked him for who he was and his parents accepted me for who i was. A few months after i runned away with him. He died in a lorry accident which caused me to go back to my parents house. Later found out i was pregnant. Christy said WHAT!!!!!!!.... Take it easy my daughter, let me complete my story.
Your grandmother adviced me to keep it a secret since it was fresh and decided i should marry your dad since he has always wanted to marry me. So i married your dad and told him the bay was his. We lived very happy and i didnt find it necessary to tell him the truth and i promised your grandmum i wouldnt. Till you got 6years. You got very ill and you needed a blooddoner. His blood didnt match yours and thats when i had to say the truth. Your dad couldnt accept the fact that you werent his child and has been blaming me since and hating me since. Thats the reason for his behaviour and anytime he remembers something he acts it one me. I dont know what to do and where rto go to. I have been taking pills to kalm down and think straight and after you left everything got worse.
Christy got up and gave her mum the biggest warmest hug ever. She said mummy no matter what im your daughter and i love you. Although i wish i could have seen my real dad. Mummy, Its never too late to start all over again. I Christy will get you out of this situation. If he doesnt want us, we have ourselves and i think thats more than enough. They both shed tears and smiled at each other.
Christy got her mum out of the house, took her back to the city and took care of her. They lived happily ever after. Oh what about Dad? They never saw him again after that last incident and they heard he is now a drunkard. Guess who told them. The nosy neighbour Ms. Moore...
Whats my point!!! Its never too late to start all over again. Just when you think the door is closed another one opens. just when you think you are a nobody thats when somebody proves you wrong. If you are not happy now, you will definetely be happy another day! Give it a chance..
